As part of your role, you will be focused on customer retention, revenue growth, and relationship growth while you measure the success of your clients’ portfolios. The Client Success Manager must have agency and digital marketing experience and know how to build solid relationships with key clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and success. You will use company or outside resources to develop and implement strategic solutions to achieve key clients’ long-term goals. The Client Success Manager is a can-do person and typically manages a portfolio of accounts and is responsible for building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients’ needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Focused on managing existing customer accounts and expanding the services offered to clients that align with their needs and will assist them in accomplishing their goals. The responsibilities include building and maintaining a growth sales pipeline with a high conversation rate, attending sales meetings to provide progress updates, and researching industry trends. You should also be able to identify new sales opportunities through partnership initiatives and customer referrals. Must analyze sales performance metrics and negotiate contracts.

This person handles and oversees the coordination of agency projects and exercises judgment and discretion to keep projects delivered on time and under budget. This individual can set priorities and adapt to changing situations quickly. Must be able to develop and execute strategies that drive traffic and generate leads. To be successful, you should be able to collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative ideas, be detailed oriented, deadline driven and focused on client satisfaction.

Client Services

  • Develop and sustain relationships with key clients with a focus on growth and retention
  • Plan budgets and activities for account management in the company
  • Serve as the point of contact for customers in your portfolio
  • Provides strategy to clients, and upsells to help grow their business
  • Works with CEO/Sales to create contracts for new business
  • Understands key clients’ needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
Account Manager

Sales Growth

  • Increases sales by client load by 10%, annually and brings in 12 opportunities annually
  • Attending client onboarding, ensuring timely roll-in of all new clients
  • Write creative briefs
  • Attends client meetings, finds opportunities for business, and makes recommendations
  • Works closely to expand cross-selling opportunities with existing clients
  • Identifies client marketing and business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researches and analyzes marketing options
  • Maintains relationships with new and existing clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; marketing strategies
  • Monitor’s client satisfaction post-sale and ensures a high level of customer service internally
  • Generates ideas for new revenue generation within large customers or vertical markets/products
  • Connects with clients to ensure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved
  • Developing long-lasting relationships with new customers.
  • Managing existing customer accounts by ensuring that customers remain satisfied
  • Collecting customer feedback to determine product and service shortfalls.

Project Management

  • Attends intake of project, has PM schedule project, and ensures on time delivery.
  • Key point of contact for clients, working with the PM who has a direct connect between the client and the team
  • Acts as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  • Handles and/or oversees brand oversight, creative and content writing, and strategy execution.
  • Guides the day-to-day development, quality, and internal prioritization of all client projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in an agency with new business and client relations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or related field.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and/or relevant software
  • Develops and maintains client onboarding procedures, ensures timely roll-in of all new clients.
  • Demonstrates exceptional presentation skills and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Detailed, focused on deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering relationships.
  • Proven content strategy and project management experience.
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
  • Excellent analytical skills, and exceptional marketing and collaborative skills.
